The Davison Bruce Foundation has announced the appointment of Madison (“Madi”) Elizabeth Reid as the foundation’s new “Next Gen Youth Program Director.” Madi is a rising senior at Auburn University, Auburn, AL where she is majoring in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Child Life and a minor in Business.
Madi has been an active member of Young Life Auburn-Opelika for eight years. She has served as a volunteer leader for the past three years mentoring 13-15 year old girls; leading weekly clubs, Bible studies and camp trips. She has also spent two summers working at Young Life camps serving high school students. Madi has been active in the foundation her late grandmother, Elizabeth Davison Bruce, founded in 2005 for several years, helping with the children as well as engaging in some volunteer work.
We welcome Madi to our staff and have confidence that she will deliver excellent programming to introduce philanthropy to our foundation’s “Next Gen” great grandchildren. We hope to encourage our Next Gens’ to become personally philanthropic, motivated to give of their time and talent and excited to learn about grant making in preparation for the their future roles as adults in their family foundation.
