information for grantseekers

The Davison Bruce Foundation is a private family foundation that seeks to improve the quality of life within our service areas by supporting programs that impact the following:

Health and Wellness

Focus on health and wellness for the disadvantaged and those affected by disease.

Education and Life Skills Training

Equip individuals for success and offer sustainable transition for those working to regain their independence.

Economic Assistance

Empower and provide economic assistance for individuals and communities in crisis.

Christian Ministry and Outreach

Further the gospel of Jesus Christ through fellowship, service, and discipleship.

Where We Work

We pursue our mission by responding to community needs and supporting programs that build capacity and embrace the need for systemic change. We typically make grants to community-centric organizations with Christian leadership. Grantmaking is generally place based and limited to organizations operating in areas where we work. We occasionally consider grants for Christian programs and organizations that are U.S. domiciled but operate internationally or are otherwise outside of our service areas; however, these grants are extremely limited.

Our church specific grants are limited to applicants that have a personal connection with the Davison Bruce Foundation. These grants are usually project based or for church planting/startup, are limited in duration, and are not intended for general operating expenses.
